Most of the Indian girls become the victim of child marriage. Especially in the hilly regions or rural and backward Indian states where the parents see their girl child as a curse. The do not want their girl child to live in their home so they just marry her at a very younger age, which is not good for the life of the girl.
The girl becomes pregnant at a younger age and by bearing an agonizing pain gives birth to a child at that younger age. Many of the times she has to give up her life during the delivery because of the pain but no one cares much about it. The reason for writing this article was to through some light on the poor and terrible condition of women in India.
As India despite of being among the super power nations, despite of being a rapidly developing nation cannot eradicate this child marriage from the society. Many of the times the girl under parental pressure marries a boy very much elder then her just because of her poor family conditions. Despite of the 66 years of independence the girls of India aren’t independent to choose her life’s main decision.
As per government rule the actual age of marriage is 18 years for girls and 21 years for boy but even now days many couples are seen where the girl is either of just 16 or 17.soon after their schooling gets over the parents decide to marry a girl and get rid of the duty
The ill effects of this child marriage is that the girl feels lonely, depressed and unhappy after the marriage just by sitting at the home and not wishing to fulfill her dreams .her whole life is now just becomes a boredom , just to be a home , cook food, wash cloths, give birth to children , nurture them that’s it.
