If asked to a teenager that “which type of marriage you believe more in, either love or arrange”? The most common answer which 80% of them will give is “Love Marriage”. The craze of love marriage has been drastically increased in the past 10 years.
The source of inspiration one get for love marriage are Films. Romantic and love story based movies have grasped the interest of the youth toward it. Seeing the hero and heroine falling in love, singing songs, fighting for their love, getting married and living happily ever after,the youth of the present era too feel the same for them selves. It is most commonly seen now a days that a girl and boy studying in just high school or intermediate dreams more about their love marriage and happy married life rather than their job or career.
Students falling in love at a very small age ,making promises of love marriage ,making love and finally break up is the common sad story always flyes around our ears .there are many cases seen in which the amateur girl and boy sex related cases just because of falling in love. The teenage school going girl gets pregnant by his boy friend and finally the whole drama starts Well, reading this blog you would probably be thinking that I am strongly against this love marriage , but it is not so.
The reason for writing this article is that I want to throw light on the negative part of it to mitigate it. I want people to be mature enough to fall in love and do whatever up to a limit. Just do not be a blind lover as shown in movies ,have some sense and responsibility towards yourself. Though love marriage is also good as the couples have a known understanding with each other from before the marriage which is not there in arrange marriage but we cannot right away say that arrange marriage do not have that kind of understanding,as they too have. Thus, my motive behind writing this was that the teenagers should be aware about the pros and cons of love and fall in love after a deep thinking about it , not just like love at first sight one.
